Events Over The Years

Ormesby Lace has always taken part in most of the major annual events that take place in the Borough of Great Yarmouth. We also like to support "local" events that take place in the area which allows us to do what we love most and that is to create and demonstrate Bobbin Lace. We also love our annual Christmas Party which we normally hold in a hotel in the Borough.

It was recently decided to change the name of the Group from the Ormesby Lace Group to reflect our now more diverse nature. With this in mind we have decided to archive, on these pages, all the events we attended which were wholly related to Lacemaking. Since we are no longer invited to any events around the borough it seemed only sensible to draw a line under our past and concentrate on the future.
